Material mix-up test as incoming goods inspection
The PLA 33-11/ PLA 3-11 probe is a probe in an absolute circuit and is operated in medium frequency ranges. Its area of application is very broad. It is used for manual crack detection on the surface an in the range near to the surface as well as for the measurement of crack depth or for material mix-up testing. With an active range of approximately 10 mm of testing area, it has a good locating surface. Its cylindrical construction enables it to be easily adapted to prismatic guides for the suppression of latent image effects and round materials. The signal image shows the phase differences between steel, austenite, titanium, and aluminum.
PLA 33-11/ PLA 3-11 absolute probe
Application:
Manual and dynamic crack detection on the surface and in the range near to the surface, corrosion and crack depth detection, independent of the testing direction. Crack recognition in complex forgings at a long distance from the probe.
